2025 Upcoming Sessions 

About the program:

Evidence shows that mindfulness, meditation, and mindfulness-based programs effectively improve overall health, especially mental health. Through this one-month program, discover the power of self-compassion and self-care and find new ways to prioritize your mental and emotional well-being.

 

Program Format:

The first and the last sessions are 90 minutes long;  all other sessions are one hour. Though (some) in-person sessions are planned, you can take this program entirely online via Zoom.

  • Tuesday, April 8, 5:30 to 7:00 PM

  • Tuesday, April 15, 5:30 to 6:30 PM

  • Tuesday, April 22, 5:30 to 6:30 PM

  • Tuesday, April 29, 5:30 to 6:30 PM

  • Tuesday, May 6, 5:30 to 6:30 PM

  • Tuesday, May 13, 5:30 to 7:00 PM

Who should take the program:

 

People of African ancestry living in Montgomery County, MD, are interested in receiving hands-on training in mindfulness practices. Participants must be prepared to commit to a daily mindfulness practice of at least 10 minutes.
